Father’s Day is right around the corner and if you’re looking for fun things to do for Father’s Day, you’re in luck!

I asked my Instagram community to share their best Father’s Day traditions and there were some fun ideas!

A few years ago, I asked Bart what he wanted to do for Father’s Day and he said, “I want a blind tasting lunch.” »

This. . . It wasn’t what I expected, but it turned out to be so much fun!

I bought about 15 items at the grocery store – unusual and fun things like pickled pineapples and fancy cheeses, fun drinks, and produce we don’t have often.

At lunch, everyone in the family would sit around the table on our patio, put on their headbands, and I would bring out a small plate for each person with the next dish on it. They would try it and once everyone had tasted it, they would try to guess what it was before taking off their

It’s been several years since we’ve done this and my family still talks about it!

Here are some more fun ideas for Father’s Day!

Father’s Day Banner
Have you seen these HUGE coloring banners?! A family shared, “The Busy Father’s Day Banner is so fun to hang on Father’s Day! Work on it with your kids first!” The idea is simple: order a giant banner to color, let the kids work on it in secret until Father’s Day, then surprise Dad by hanging it up on the big day. Not only does this give the kids a fun project to work on, but it also creates a personalized decoration that makes Dad feel even more celebrated.

“Fancy” dinner
A mother shared, “The kids and I cleaned out the garage, then set up our dinner on a camping table in our clean garage, candles and all! I plan to do it again this year.” I love this as a Father’s Day tradition because it proves that you don’t need anything fancy to make the day special. A simple change of scenery – whether it’s a garage dinner, a backyard picnic, or a meal on the porch or patio – can transform an ordinary family dinner into a memory everyone looks forward to repeating year after year.

Correspondence with Dad
This one made me smile because it’s such an easy way to make Father’s Day a little more special. A reader shared the tradition of, “My oldest two are boys, so I usually buy new matching ties for everyone! Now that I have two younger girls, I try to make matching ties and bows. Boon Ties is a great option to get them!” In our family, my husband is the only boy, but I know my girls would love to pair Bart with bows or coordinating outfits! Whether it’s matching ties, bows, or another fun accessory, I love the idea of kids dressing to match Dad for the day.

Dad’s Choice Day
Sometimes the best Father’s Day gift is simply spending the day together doing what Dad loves most. A family said “Family day where Dad chooses what we do. Usually, park and have a picnic, then go for a bike ride. And finally make family dinner.” I love the simplicity and flexibility of this tradition: Whether Dad chooses a hike, game day, trip to the park, or a favorite family outing, the emphasis is on creating memories together and celebrating his life in his own way.

Fun taste test
I love this idea because it’s easy to customize to what Dad likes most. A few years ago, when we were trying to decide what to get my husband Bart for Christmas, we held a root beer taste test and it was a huge success (I have a blog post about it here, if you want to try recreating it)! A mother shared, “This year we are planning to do an ice cream taste test. I will buy several pints and everyone can try them (my husband loves ice cream).” Whether it’s root beer, ice cream, cheese, cookies, or another favorite treat, a family taste test is a simple way to make Father’s Day fun, memorable, and especially tailored to the dad you’re celebrating.

sentimental book
This might be one of the sweetest Father’s Day traditions I’ve ever heard. “When my oldest two were little, I started a book for my husband. Every year the children answer questions about their father and I write them in the book. I also traced their hands in the book when they were little. They also draw a picture or write a letter to him (as they get older) and I insert that as well. I take a picture of him with the children every year and add it to the book. So he has a collection of items from each child of each year, on the occasion of Father’s Day. I love how this tradition captures not only the children’s changing writing and artwork, but also their personalities and memories over the years.

Father’s Day Breakfast
If the way to your husband or father’s heart is through his stomach, this tradition is an easy win! A mother shared, “I make him his favorite breakfast every year: biscuits and sausage gravy.” There’s something special about starting Father’s Day with a meal prepared just for him, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. This simple tradition is a heartfelt way to make him feel celebrated from the moment he wakes up.

Do you have any other favorite Father’s Day traditions? I would love to hear!

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
